Fossil Fuel Free

Wales across the Severn

In the coming decade we all need to move to a fossil fuel free world. When we travel on holiday, we can do so as a means to enjoy the world without damaging it, experiencing travel in ways that enhance our excitement at being alive. In this future, we value and enjoy most our immediate cultural and natural surroundings. Our leisure and working lives allow us to nurture vibrant and supportive communities, sharing experiences with friends and families that live near to us.bike and a boat

In this future we can enjoy an efficient infrastructure for public transport, cycling, zero emissions vehicles and virtual meetings. Rarely will we be required to travel for business meetings, video conferencing becoming the usual means of negotiating and communicating with colleagues, saving time, money and allowing us to return home to spend our evenings with family and friends.Family on wet sand

Experiencing new places, both cultural and natural remains important to many, but more earth bound travel helps build our sense of connectedness and appreciation of diversity, and is an important part of being happy. Feeling connected to the world is part of what it means to be fully alive.Dandelion seeds This enjoyment of life is encouraged most as we move around the world in a way that is sensitive to the needs of everybody else, and everything else, that lives on our planet. No longer are we disconnected, physically and spiritually, from the world as we travel around it, oblivious to the lives and places we are helping to damage. In the fossil fuel free future we are confident and excited about a world left better, not worse, for the next generation.

Pledge now to be free from air travel and cut your CO2 emissions now.
